NANAIMO — Meet River, an adorable four-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, looking for a home to match his energy.

River came to the Nanaimo SPCA as a stray and now loves to relax around his people, play fetch, and go for a swim in any available watering hole.

River is ready and willing to be your faithful companion for the rest of his days.

You can submit an application online and book an appointment if it’s a match, or stop by their Nanaimo location Tuesday-Sunday from noon until 4 p.m.
