Nanaimo’s Dylan Coghlan signs with Vegas Golden Knights
NANAIMO — Following stops with two other NHL organizations, Nanaimo’s Dylan Coghlan is returning to where he got his first shot in the league.
Coghlan, a 27-year-old defenceman, signed a one-year, one-way contract with the Vegas Golden Knights during the opening day of free agency on Tuesday, July 1.
His contract is worth $775,000, according to PuckPedia, a website which tracks NHL contracts and salary cap obligations.
Of Coghlan’s 112 NHL games, a vast majority were played with Vegas during the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons, where he suited up for 82 games, compiling six goals and 16 assists.
