PARKSVILLE —Contractors are requested to submit their bids to incrementally replace the prized waterfront walkway at Parksville’s Community Park.

According to the City of Parksville, bids are being accepted until Tuesday, June 10 to replace the boardwalk in Parksville Bay in phases over the next four years.

The replacement project started last September to address a high-traffic section section of boardwalk in front of the waterfront gazebo.

Parksville’s waterfront walkway connects the Community Park to the base of McMillan St.
