Pop-up recycling contract extended in Parksville
PARKSVILLE — A six-month contract is in place for a free pop-up recycling operation to continue in south Parksville.
A dozen recycling depot dates are in place, encompassing every second Saturday between Jan. 11 and June 28 from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. at 1080 Industrial Way.
Funded by Recycle BC and operated by Parksville Community Centre Society (PCCS) the service accepts various plastic, foam, paper, cardboard and glass products.
Duane Round, PCCS president, said the service has been extremely popular since launching last year.
