Calgary’s Wilm takes bronze in 100-metre backstroke at short-course worlds

BUDAPEST — Calgary swimmer Ingrid Wilm picked up her second medal of the short-course world championships Wednesday after finishing third in the women’s 100-metre backstroke.

Wilm finished in 55.75 seconds, behind Americans Regan Smith (54.55) and Katherine Berkoff (54.93).

Wilm also won a bronze in the event at the 2022 short-course championships in Melbourne, Australia.

Kylie Masse of LaSalle, Ont., the two-time 100-metre backstroke long-course champion, was sixth.
