Clippers lose big lead in 7-5 loss to Express
NANAIMO — The Clippers had perhaps their best 20 minutes of the season and potentially their worst 40.
In a tremendous first period against Coquitlam, Nanaimo poured in four goals.
First Chase Hull and Joel Plante connected on the power play and then Luke Lavery and Connor DeTurris added goals to give the Clippers a 4-0 lead at the intermission.
Coquitlam turned the tables in the second outshooting Nanaimo 18-3 and scoring three goals.
