Osborne working for Saturday win

With one day left until the provincial election, NDP incumbent Josie Osborne is out in the rain, pounding the pavement and talking to the people of Port Alberni.
She says she hopes to continue working on ways to make life better in the mid-island.
“I’ve worked really hard in this region over the last four years and we’ve made such incredible progress in areas like childcare and housing, but we have so much more work to do, especially when it comes to the opioid crisis that’s before us and people are feeling the impacts of that every day here in Port Alberni in the valley and I want to keep working hard for people,” she said.
Osborne says there is more work to do to improve access to healthcare, and make sure everyone in the Alberni Valley has a family physician.
The Green and Conservative candidates have not responded to our multiple invitations to be interviewed.
