Multiple MVI’s this weekend

Alberni Valley first responders were busy over the weekend with a series of Motor Vehicle Incidents.

Port Alberni firefighters were dispateched to Kilometre 36 of the Bamfield Road after a motorcyclist went into a ditch on Friday and was transported to hospital.

Yesterday, departments responded to an MVI on the Redford Extention at 9 am after a jeep drove into a ditch, then at 11 there was a two-vehicle crash at 10th and Burde, then at 1:30 a 2-car collision closed the eastbound lanes on the hump for an hour. No serious injuries were reported.
