The one-on-one time with an instructor allows the lessons to be 100% customized to the individual. This can range from beginners in the earliest stages of learning, to more advanced swimmers looking to boost their skills.

Along with his background as a Special Olympics swim coach, Tolley cares for adults with special needs and children with diversabilities.

You really need to be able to personalize the lesson and make these swimmers comfortable and confident in the water.”

Tolley pointed out that there can be unique barriers to why an adult may not have learned to swim, and that one-on-one lessons makes it easier for adults to overcome these challenges compared to in a group setting.

“Our lessons go beyond the pool edge.” Tristan has seen first-hand how students conquer fears and master life-long skills, highlighting AquaSTAR’s game-changing personalized approach.

He shared his experience witnessing a student overcome their fear of water and eventually master skills outside the pool.
