New fast ferry seeking brand ambassadors

Calling all marine travel enthusiasts! Hullo, the new fast ferry service, is hosting a recruitment event looking for Brand Ambassadors to join their Nanaimo crew.

Open interviews will take place Thursday, July 27, at the Coast Bastion Hotel. Interested individuals are asked to arrive no later than 8 am, with printed resumes. Hullo has both full-time and part-time Brand Ambassador positions available. Contracts span Aug. 1 to Sept 30, 2023.

So what IS a brand ambassador? Simply put, they become the faces of Hullo and are the first point of contact for many guests of the new service that will connect Nanaimo and downtown Vancouver.

In charge of delivering top-notch guest service and friendly smiles, Brand Ambassadors also assist with the boarding process and vessel turnover procedures. With mentorship woven into the position, it is an opportunity to learn the ropes on guest experience.

The full-time Brand Ambassador position is 40 hours per week over five days, and part-time is 16 hours per week over two days.
