Huge crowds anticipated for annual Father’s Day classic car show in Qualicum Beach

QUALICUM BEACH — Hundreds of vehicle enthusiasts are showing off their classic cars from as far back as the 1920’s to modern day models in a festival like atmosphere.

The 30th anniversary Seaside Cruizers Father’s Day Show N’ Shine in downtown Qualicum Beach takes place on Sunday, June 18 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The free event on closed-off Primrose St. and West Second Ave. is expected to attract more than 20,000 people throughout the day.

Musical entertainment, food trucks and other vendors will be on site, while local restaurants will be be open.

Giveaways, raffles, and a 50/50 draw by the Seaside Cruizers Car Club supports numerous non-profit organizations.

Judging begins at 9 a.m., while the awards presentations happens at 2 p.m.

The Seaside Cruizers Father’s Day Show N’ Shine returned last year following a two year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
