Move over for Milo, an elderly pitbull cross with a heart of gold

NANAIMO — Nope, that’s not a land seal you’re looking at, it’s an actual dog!

Meet Milo, a 13-year-old pit bull terrier/shar-pei who’s looking for a retirement home to live out his golden years.

He’s a snuggly and happy old man who would prefer to be the only animal around to soak up the most love possible.

The Nanaimo SPCA have reopened their doors to the public. You can still submit an application online and book an appointment if it’s a match, or stop by their Nanaimo location Tuesday-Sunday from noon until 4:00 p.m.
