Concrete truck tips over and lands on Hammond Bay Road property
NANAIMO — The driver and lone occupant of a concrete pump truck was not injured after losing control of his vehicle on Nanaimo’s Hammond Bay Rd.
The large truck veered off the road’s shoulder and landed on its side, resting on a residential property near Berkeley Pl.
It happened on Friday, July 8 just before 2 p.m., resulting in damage to the truck and a flattened wire fence.
Multiple tow trucks were tasked to the scene for a challenging retrieval of the large truck, which had fallen over a short embankment.
