Rides and fun take over Mayfair Shopping Centre in Victoria
NANAIMO — As government-mandated restrictions loosen, theme parks are finally making their long-awaited return after the pandemic put their events on hold the past two years.
More than 20,000 visitors made it to the West Coast Amusements (WCA) theme park opening weekend in early April, and residents from all over Vancouver Island were attracted.
“It was a great time. We haven’t been able to enjoy it in a while.”
Anonymously interviewed guests expressed their satisfaction with this event as well as a desire to see more of the same come to Woodgrove Centre.
