Meet Penny, cuddly senior searching for her retirement home

NANAIMO — Penny is looking for a place to retire.

15-year-old Penny is a sweet old lady who’s a little shy. She would do well in a calm, quiet home with no other dogs or young children as she can be frightened by them.

Penny also has mild arthritis so a home with minimal stairs or barriers would be ideal as she isn’t the jumper she once was.

The Nanaimo SPCA rules have changed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Before meeting your new forever friend you submit an application online and book an appointment if it’s a match.
