Naked man seen twice at Rathtrevor Provincial Park, Oceanside RCMP investigation

PARKSVILLE — Two public indecency incidents have police searching for a man in Rathtrevor Provincial Park.

Cpl. Jesse Foreman with Oceanside RCMP said there were two reports of an older man at the park walking around in the nude.

The first was on April 30 and again on May 14.

The man was seen and confronted both times by visitors at the park. The man would then cover himself and walk back into the woods.

He’s described as between 50 and 60 years old with white hair and a short beard. Foreman said descriptions of the suspect were vague since he never got close to anyone.
