Number of active COVID-19 cases in B.C. dips for first time in two weeks
NANAIMO — A slight downward trend among new COVID-19 numbers.
A statement on Wednesday, Sept. 9 listed the number of active cases at 1,378, down by eight despite the 100 new cases announced on Wednesday.
This is the first time the number of active cases has dropped even slightly in roughly two weeks.
One new case was confirmed to be within Island Health, for a total of 185 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
