UPDATE — Nanaimo RCMP report they have located Rohan Baptiste safe and sound.

EARLIER:

NANAIMO — Local mounties are searching for a missing 11-year-old who left his caregivers.

Rohan Baptiste was last seen around 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29 in the 300 block of Finlayson St. near downtown Nanaimo.

He is described as 5’3″, 120 pounds and has dark hair with blonde streaks. He was wearing a black jacket with white stripes when he was last seen.
