Vancouver Island again escapes new COVID-19 cases
NANAIMO — The number of COVID-19 cases on Vancouver Island remains at 135.
A joint statement from provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and health minister Adrian Dix announced 21 new COVID-19 cases across the province on Wednesday, July 15.
The number of active cases in B.C. hovers near 210 cases, which is a sharp increase from the lows of roughly 160 approximately two weeks ago.
There are currently three active cases of COVID-19 on Vancouver Island.
