4 arrested, south Nanaimo drug house shut down after police raid
NANAIMO — It wasn’t a happy Canada Day for four people arrested after RCMP raided an alleged south end drug house.
Nanaimo RCMP searched the Woodhouse St. home in the early morning hours of July 1, seizing a range of drugs, cash and arresting four adults between the ages of 27 and 57.
Police said in a news release shutting down the alleged drug house was the result of a two-month long investigation aided by local complaints of drug trafficking, thefts and various disturbances.
Small amounts of crack cocaine, crystal meth and fentanyl and $19,000 cash were seized, according to police.
