Three more confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Vancouver Island

NANAIMO — The province has provided another update as to the number of COVID-19 cases on Vancouver Island and the province as a whole.

Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced three new cases on Saturday, bringing the total to 60 in the Island Health Region.

Across the province, the number of confirmed cases has jumped by 92 new cases to 884 including one additional death.

Dr. Henry also highlighted recovery numbers. She said 396 cases, representing 45 per cent of all cases have recovered.
