Meet Twinkle, a playful, inquisitive juvenile gerbil

NANAIMO — Twinkle is a juvenile female gerbil who is all alone at the Nanaimo and District SPCA shelter after a buddy was recently adopted.

She’s busy, friendly and energetic. She loves digging tunnels and playing in all parts of her enclosure.

Twinkle would do well in an environment where she can have new challenges and structures to climb on and dig through.
