Stolen vehicle hits police cruiser in south Nanaimo, 3 suspects arrested

NANAIMO — Three men were arrested after their allegedly stolen car ended up in a south Nanaimo ditch while being tracked by police.

RCMP Cst. Gary O’Brien said the suspect vehicle hit a police cruiser prior to losing control on Park Ave. near Alpen Way on Wednesday afternoon.

O’Brien said there were no injuries. He said police followed the vehicle and that it was not a high speed pursuit.
