Clippers break Vernon’s seven game winning streak with 5-0 victory

NANAIMO – The Clippers ended the Vernon Vipers seven game winning streak with a 5-0 victory at Frank Crane Arena.

Zach Bennett made 24 saves in the win for his first BCHL shutout.

Nanaimo’s offense was strong in the first period with goals by Kyler Kovich, Travis Walton, and the first BCHL tally by Cade Cavallini.

From there the Clippers managed the game extremely well and added third period markers by Ethan Scardina on the power play, and Steven Agriogianis.
