NANAIMO — A Nanaimo senior is on a desperate search for a missing prized memento gifted to him by his father nearly 80 years ago.

Nanaimo RCMP say Geoffrey Collins, 92, lost one of two brown leather gloves while running errands during his scooter ride to Port Place Shopping Centre on Thursday, Sept. 26.

The precious glove fell out of the Carrier of the man’s scooter, who lives on Comox Rd.

Nanaimo RCMP said Collins ventured along Prideaux St. and down Old Victoria Rd. en-route to the mall.
