Short manned Clippers earn point in 4-3 OT loss in Duncan
DUNCAN – The Clippers and Capitals went beyond 60 minutes on Saturday night with Cowichan Valley getting a 4-3 win in overtime.
Nanaimo finishes the season series 6-1-1 against their island rivals and are on a run of collecting points in three of their last four games.
Marcus Mitchell opened the scoring for the Clippers with a power play goal three minutes into the contest and then Landon Pavlisin took over from there.
His best save in the first period was on a two on one when he stopped David Melaragni in close.
