Clippers impressive in 6-2 win over Surrey
NANAIMO — The Clippers turned up their game and got back in the win column with a 6-2 win over the Surrey Eagles on Friday.
It was arguably their best game of the season, coming on the heels of their worst outing on Wednesday.
Tyler Williams, Sammy Steele, and Mackenzie Merriman scored in a there minute span in the first period to get the team rolling.
Then the Eagles scored a power play goal on a Holden Katzalay deflection to cut the lead to 3-1 but Aiden Hansen-Bukata’s point shot gave Nanaimo a 4-1 lead after the first period.
