$1.5M renovations start at Country Club Centre

NANAIMO — Country Club Centre is undergoing significant renovations over the next several months.

Country Club Centre manager Dave Mills told NanaimoNewsNOW the $1.5 million overhaul of the mall’s interior includes new washrooms, revamped food court, an upgraded kids play zone, flooring enhancements and a fresh paint job.

Work is underway and crews are scheduled to be finished next spring. The more than 50 stores inside the mall won’t be be impacted, but Mills said customers can expect some noise from contractors.

Mills said exterior renovations are planned at some point in the future.

It was previously renovated in 2003.
