The White Rock product the Capitals top rookie during the 17-18 season he also finished second in team goal scoring.

The 17-year-old scored 14 goals and added 12 assists in 48 games in Cowichan last year.

Clippers coach Darren Naylor shares his thoughts on the deal:

The BCHL schedule should be released sometime in the next month and with former Clippers coach Mike Vandekamp behind the Capitals bench and the motivation this recent trade has instilled in the players involved, all eight head to head regular season matchups should be as good as it gets in the Island Division.
