Missing elderly mushroom picker found deceased

NANAIMO – After an exhaustive search, a mushroom picker missing south of Nanaimo was found deceased.
Ladysmith RCMP confirmed 72-year-old Faye Hanson was found after a six-day search.
They said no foul play is suspected in her death.
Hanson was first reported missing on Oct.23.
Dozens of Search and Rescue teams from across B.C. helped in the search.
The B.C. Coroner Service is now handling the file.
