Mid-November warmest in years: temperature records fall in Saskatchewan, Manitoba

Temperature records are falling like leaves across the Prairies.

In Winnipeg on Wednesday it reached 18.8 C at the airport, smashing the old record of 14.4 C set in 1923 and 1930.

The average daytime high in Regina for this time of year is 1 C and the typical night time low is closer to -8 C.

Regina reached a high of 21.7 C on Wednesday — the previous record was 18.9 C set in 1887.
