UPDATE: Charges announced in Port-O-Call stabbing
NANAIMO — Charges have been laid after a man was stabbed at the Port-O-Call Inn & Suites Wendesday afternoon. Nancy Deann Sandman, 44, of Nanaimo has been charged with assault, assault causing bodily harm and breaching a court-ordered condition.
RCMP say Sandman will remain in custody until her next court appearance scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 21. Police say the man who was stabbed was treated in hospital for a non-life threatening injury.
