Clippers fall short with 4-1 loss in Powell River
POWELL RIVER — The Clippers have made lots of improvements over the last month but the results against the Kings this weekend show there is more work to be done.
Nanaimo lost 4-1 on Saturday, and end their season series with a 2-6 record against their Island Division rivals.
The game was scoreless into the second period with both Mitch Adamyk and the Clippers Austin Roden playing well in the opening 20 minutes.
It appeared Nanaimo had the opened scoring three minutes into the game but an apparent goal was washed out because of contact with the goalie.
