NanaimoNewsNOW's NanaimoVotes Survey

In a bid to provide a more comprehensive look at this year’s field of Mayor and Council candidates in Nanaimo, we invited all candidates to participate in a 34-question multiple choice survey on a wide array of topics in Nanaimo.

Candidates were asked to rank their level of agreement with a series of statements we made on issues such as housing, tourism, homelessness and transportation. Each candidate was also offered 200 words to further clarify their answer and add any aspects of their platform they wanted to highlight.

NanaimoNewsNOW received responses from 29 of the 33 candidates. Click on the links below to view results from the respective sections.
