NOVEMBER 5, 1948 ~ JANUARY 6, 2019 (AGE 70)

Carl passed on, surrounded with love, on January 6th, 2019. He enjoyed a 32 year career at the Pacific Biological Station and referred to his co-worker friends there as his second family. Carl had a life-long passion for nature in all its forms, reading, and adventure; all of which he instilled in his sons.

Carl was and is our love, our light, our shelter from the storm.

Please join Linda, John and Michael for a celebration of Carl’s life at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 to share your favourite stories and memories of Carl. The celebration will be held at Yates Memorial Services, 1000 Allsbrook Rd, Parksville. For those so wishing, a donation in Carl’s memory to the Vancouver Island Regional Library would be deeply appreciated.
