APRIL 1, 1943 ~ SEPTEMBER 21, 2018 (AGE 75)
Born April 1, 1943 – Died suddenly September 21, 2018
Diane passed away at Comox Valley Hospital with her husband Dave of 58 years, daughters Darleen and Danna, grandsons Christopher and Lucas and son in law Gary at her side.
Diane was a gifted quilter who volunteered at the Old Schoolhouse and sold her creations there and elsewhere. She was a ray of sunshine to the many people who were lucky enough to be her friends and all who met her along the way. Diane was also the cashier at the Parksville Qualicum Fish and Game club’s shotgun range at Dorman Road for twenty years until she retired in 2017. She was a trap shooter in her younger days and was lady’s champion in 2003 for the Vancouver Island shooting league clubs and won a buckle or few. Diane went on lots of fishing and hunting trips in B.C. She also had many trips to far off lands with husband Dave and his fly rods and Lady Di with her quilting. Diane will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Please join us for a Service of Remembrance October 2, 2018 @ 10:30 am at the Christian Fellowship Centre, 825 Village Way, Qualicum Beach.
