NOVEMBER 29, 1949 ~ JANUARY 10, 2019 (AGE 69)
It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne Roller announces his passing after a brief illness, on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the age of 69. Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 26 years, Susie and his daughter Nadine. Wayne will also be fondly remembered by his 2 grandchildren Owen and Samantha, by his sister Lynne and his nephew David. He is forever remembered by his many wonderful friends that have deeply touched his life.
Most of his careers were in tourism. He started as a greyhound bus driver. He then spent many years as owner of West Coast Sightseeing based in Vancouver. His later years and retirement were spent as a Tour Director for Globus and Cosmos in the Canadian Rockies. Wayne enjoyed participating in many sports, especially cycling (on the galloping goose trail), swimming and hiking. He had a great love of nature and all animals, which was reflected in his search for enlightenment and his spiritual life.
Those who so desire may make a memorial donation in memory of Wayne to the SPCA, 1565 Alberni Hwy, Parksville, BC V9P 2H3.
