Georgina Teresa Reid – April 21st, 1964 – September 4th, 2022

Georgina Teresa Reid, born April 21, 1964, took her last breath to end her courageous battle with Cancer on September 4, 2022 and joined her mother, father, and brothers in heaven. Georgina, the youngest of the family, is survived by 3 sisters who she dearly loved. Georgina was a daughter, sister, fabulous Aunt, awesome friend, dedicated Corrections Officer, softball player, animal lover, Nascar fan, dart player, very artistic, creative and a cool neighbor. She was authentic, straight forward, loyal, caring of others, fun and so much more to all of us. To celebrate her life, Georgina wanted us to party . Her words for the occasion were “not formal”. So come as you are and bring your favorite story of Georgina. Celebration to be held Sunday, October 16th from 1-5pm at Branch #10 Legion. Address: 129 Harewood Road, Nanaimo. Drop in – no service. Georgina’s family will be in attendance for this special day of celebration. If you would like to donate time or money in Georgina’s memory, consider the SPCA or BC Cancer Society.
