MARCH 24, 1940 ~ MARCH 25, 2019 (AGE 79)
Sadly, we announce the passing of Morley Nelson Noga on Monday, March 25th, 2019. Morley was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, and in 1957 he pursued a career with Marconi Radio School. He began his working career as a morse operator with the ministry of transportation on Spring Island for 2 years. He then went on a freighter through the Suez and New York, eventually ending up in England where he met and married Ann.
Morley and Ann moved to Delta, BC in 1962 where he bought and grew a grocery delivery business for Safeway Stores in Vancouver. In 1971 he became a realtor for Block Bros, later opening their own company, Tudor Realty. After many years as a realtor, Morley went on to land development until 2002 when he retired at 62 on Vancouver Island.
Morley loved boats and had many from the young age of 17 up until 2008. He enjoyed fishing, skiing and hockey. He had several RV’s and did some amazing trips all over the USA and Canada. He also enjoyed organizing and running car fun rallies.
Morley passed from Leukemia in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital at 79. He is survived by his sisters, May Wolfe and Dianne Clutchey; his son, Kevin (Myra); step son, Brandon (Ferne); and granddaughter, Rene Mitchell. Even until the end, he had his very unique sense of humour and sharp mind. He was a legend and will be remembered forever. Cheers, Dad.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 14th, 2019 at Yates Memorial Services, 1000 Allsbrook Rd., Parksville, BC.
