Obituary
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Harry on Friday, January 17, 2020. He was born on December 25, 1944 at the West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni, BC to Earling and Edna Jensen. Harry is survived by his companion, Connie Richardson; daughter, Deborah Lynn (Derek) Grigor and their children; and son, David Earl Jensen. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Earl; and sister, June.
Harry was in the Armed Forces for 10 years and served as a Peace Keeper in Cyprus for six months during 1970. He has held many different jobs over the years finally becoming a BC Transit Driver. During these years, he was involved with the Variety Club in Vancouver. This was very important to him and he told many stories about the different events that he and BC Transit were involved with. Harry was also very heavily involved in the restoration of a DC3 airplane which was carried out in Langley, BC.
An avid fisherman, Harry loved the Alberni Inlet and recounted many stories about his fishing adventures and happy times spent spent fishing there.
Harry will be sorely missed by his companion, Connie and his many friends and extended family members.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Harry’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
