Richard Micheal Jackson– August 24, 1984 – February 26, 2023

It is with profound sadness, grief, and regret that we announce the passing of Richard Micheal Jackson, born August 24, 1984. Richard passed on February 26, 2023 at 38 years old and is survived by his parents, Shannon and Mike, and Tom and Kat; son Nikolai; and siblings Khendra (Kristofer), Shaylene, Mark, and Doug; nieces and nephews, and family. Richard fought against the demons of addiction for most of his life. He was the light of our family that only became brighter on Nov 6, 2022, when he chose sobriety. Richard lived a full and sober life filled with love and family for 4.5 months before he was taken away too soon by pneumonia and COPD complications. Although he is no longer physically here, his warmth and light will always be with us. Richard aspired to help and give back to the homeless community. He would have wanted donations to be made to the community that supported him in the form of coffee, food, or clothes for the homeless or less fortunate. Please remember to treat them with kindness because many of them are wonderful people.
