JUNE 13, 1943 ~ OCTOBER 26, 2018 (AGE 75)
It is with great sadness and sorrow we mourn the passing of our beloved Bob. He was the only child of Norah and Cecil Elphicke and was raised in Prince George, B.C. and moved to the Nanoose Bay/Parksville area thirty (30) years ago.
Bob had a varied working career life from sports broadcasting for CBC, to orchard farmer, long-haul trucker, gravel truck driver and his final career venture as a part time taxi driver which he loved doing.
He is survived by his loving wife and soul-mate Arlene and his children, Mike (Tana), Christy (Len), Bobbi Ann (BJ), Celina (Greg), Jamie (Rick), as well as 13 Grandchildren with another one on the way, and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Thank you to all staff at the Nanaimo Regional Hospital for your comfort and compassion.
He will be sadly missed by all the family and his many, many friends.
No service upon his request. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer/Dementia organization in his name. Thank you.
Robert (Taxi Bob) Elphicke has taken his last road trip.
