JUNE 24, 1937 ~ APRIL 16, 2019 (AGE 81)
Bill passed away April 16 with his wife and daughter by his side at The Gardens in Qualicum Beach.
Bill is survived by Denise, his loving wife of 58 years, daughter Pattie (Terry), son Tom (Kelly), grandchildren Christopher (Tamara), Jennifer (Jeremy), Andrew (Nicola), Alex, Max and Victoria, great grandchildren Duncan, Scarlett and Baby Lewis, and brothers Larry and Dennis.
Bill grew up in Armstrong and sold farm equipment (thus his lifelong adoration of tractors). He married Denise in 1960 and moved to Duncan, then Coquitlam and Langley. He sold heavy trucks before starting his marine businesses. He appreciated going to work every day with the gang at Bridgeview.
Bill absolutely loved fishing on the Billy Barker and enjoyed many fun salmon hunting adventures with his brothers-in-law Harvey and Wayne, Dennis, as well as with many friends: Ron, Don, Victor and Lorne to name a few.
He and Denise moved to Qualicum Beach in 2016 where he followed the Canucks, Lions and Blue Jays. Bill was grateful for and had lots of laughs boxing with Doug and the Rock Steady Parkinson’s gang. Most of all though, he adored his beloved wife and family (and fishing!).
A service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Parkinson’s Society of BC
