SEPTEMBER 26, 1927 ~ FEBRUARY 9, 2019 (AGE 91)
Sadly, we announce the passing of Marie Bealuc on Saturday, February 9th, 2019. Marie was predeceased by her parents, Theodule and Marie Landry; stepmother, Flora Gervais; her first husband of 34 years, Octave Deleau; second husband of 19 years, Marcel Beaulac; sister, Germaine Landry, Lucienne Landry, Laurette Carrier, Marie-Ann Wilvers and Lorraine Stocking; brothers, Roger, Francois, Lucien, Jean, and Paul. She is survived by her sons, Robert Deleau (Brenda) and Richard Deleau (Darlene); daughters, Lorraine Smith (Allan), Charmaine Manoin (John); Marcel’s children, Jeanne Girard, Nicole Ball (Randy), Pierrette Gardner (Bill), Carmen Rassmuesen (Dennis), Cecile Clyne (Roy) and Luc Beaulac (Vicky); sisters, Marguerite Boutin and Vivian Hirsch (Vern); grandchildren, Shane Smith (Tracy), Dayna Harstad (Matt Freiss), Carla Snyder (Joe), Grant Deleau, April Davis (Shane), and Shayla Deleau; numerous great and great great grandchildren; as well as her closest niece, Connie Damsgaard.
Marie Rose was born on a farm in Cantal, Saskatchewan. She married Octave Deleau in 1946 and farmed in Frys, Saskatchewan. They moved into Redvers in 1956 but continued to farm until it sold in 1965. The family then moved to Brooks, Alberta for 2 years. The next move was to Medicine Hat until 1972, then on to Calgary before moving to Parksville in 1973. In 1994 Rose married Marcel Beaulac and continued to reside in Parksville.
