NANAIMO — It was a difficult week for the Buccaneers, who faltered in back-to-back games for just the second time this season.

Nanaimo will look to rebound after losing to a hungry Glacier Kings team and a setback the next night to an always tough Braves in their home barn.

NANAIMO — For the Nanaimo Buccaneers, trying to catch the North Division leading Campbell River Storm is much like salmon fishing. Every time they reel them in closer to the boat, they have to spot them some line and hope they tire out.

NANAIMO -- The Nanaimo Buccaneers were unable to make up any ground on two key opponents this past week in the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League. 

They were, however, able to secure a win Thursday, September 27th against the Peninsula Panthers, in a double overtime thriller.
