
Stabbing in Harewood leaves man with ‘life-threatening’ injuries
NANAIMO — One man is in custody and another has life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in Harewood.
Nanaimo RCMP said they were called to a townhouse complex on Fifth St. around 2 a.m. on March 31 and found a 25-year-old man who had been stabbed several times.
Bloody clothes were strewn on the ground near a pool of blood in the parking lot of the Sanala townhouse complex early Saturday morning. The complex was formerly known as King Arthur Court.
Mounties said they arrested a man nearby and he remains in custody pending a court appearance.
