Dine About Mid Island returns with large selection for foodies

NANAIMO  — A popular campaign aimed at boosting the regional food and beverage scene has no shortage of options for diners to sink their teeth into.

Dine About Mid Island, a volunteer-driven initiative, featuring dozens of restaurants, cafes, breweries and more offering featured menus from Ladysmith to Qualicum Beach. 

This year, 44 locations are participating, roughly half of which are Nanaimo-based, and are involved in the campaign running between Wednesday, Jan 21, until Sunday, Feb. 8. 

Many participants are offering specialty-priced, combo menus. 

Dine About Mid Island aims to boost economic growth, foster community engagement, and increase brand visibility. 

“By partnering with a variety of local restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and beverage makers, we create a memorable multi-week dining experience that connects residents and visitors alike to the unique flavours and creative talent of our community,” noted the Dine About Mid Island website. 

Reservations are recommended for many Dine About Mid Island participants.
