Up to 15 cm of snow expected on B.C.’s Interior highways Sunday: Environment Canada
VANCOUVER — Environment Canada is cautioning people travelling to the province’s Interior over Thanksgiving weekend to prepare for winter weather conditions.
The agency has issued a special weather report warning the public of about 15 centimetres of snow on most southern highway passes Sunday afternoon.
Drivers are being warned that weather in the mountains can change suddenly and create hazardous driving conditions.
Environment Canada is calling for rain later Saturday, but as temperature levels drop, snow is expected overnight.
