Meet the adorable animals adopted from BC SPCA’s

NANAIMO — Each week we feature animals currently awaiting adoption at the Nanaimo SPCA.

Thankfully there are no animals currently in care, so we’re taking a look at animals which were adopted and have found their forever homes.

Cheddar is a large fluffy cat adopted from the Campbell River SPCA.

Cheddar’s forever home is still relatively new, having been adopted in November, 2019.

The owners say Cheddar is “the weirdest, cutest, biggest cat” who they love dearly.

There’s also Copper, who was adopted over in the Sunshine Coast when she was only 11 weeks old.

She’s now turning 11-years-old in June.

Copper is a delightful mix of Rhodesian Ridgeback, Bernese Mountain, Rottweiler and Labrador.

Her forever home is one filled with travel and Copper is always going on new adventures across the province, travelling from Nanaimo to Sechelt on a float plane.
