OTTAWA — The Ottawa Senators have signed defenceman Hoyt Stanley and goaltender Kevin Reidler to entry-level contracts set to start in the 2026-27 season, the NHL team announced Monday.

Stanley signed a three-year contract with the club, while Reidler’s deal is for two years. Both players will join the American Hockey League’s Belleville Senators on an amateur tryout agreement for the rest of this season.

Stanley, from West Vancouver, B.C., spent the 2025-26 NCAA season with Cornell, where he was a finalist for the ECAC Hockey best defensive defenceman award. He had three goals and 12 assists while helping the Big Red post a 22-11-1 record.

The Senators picked the 21-year-old Stanley in the fourth round (108th overall) of the 2023 NHL draft.
